My guest today is Caroline Chambers, queen of a culinary media empire with her Substack What To Cook When You Don't Feel Like Cooking as the crown jewel with nearly 200k subscribers and over 20,000 paid subscribers (do the math on $50/annual subscription—she’s making a great living on writing!) She also has a popular podcast “So Into That” and an active social media presence (her Instagram rivals her Substack, with well over 200k followers, so I stopped counting, haha.)

I first met Caroline in San Francisco at a Substack Bestsellers party. She is so down-to-earth and approachable, despite being a famous culinary personality. When Caroline announced that she loved reading fiction and then screamed upon realizing that I had written Damsel, I knew we would be instant friends.
