What an amazing trip! Congrats on being a Guest of Honor! It was fun to see all of your photos. :) I'm currently reading A Girl Called Samson, which is historical fiction. And I published my monthly folklore-inspired newsletter this week, which explores the magical birds of Rhiannon. https://stephraemoran.substack.com/p/the-magical-birds-of-rhiannon

What a fun trip! 🥳 Copenhagen is on my list of "future family friendly vacations" because I have a new local writer/journalist friend here in Asheville who is married to a Dane and always boasts of the city's awesomeness when it comes to mothers and young children. I wonder if this was your impression, too?

Last week, I published this personal essay: https://katrinadonhamwrites.substack.com/p/at-the-moma?r=3cnvg1. It's about visiting a place from a past life after becoming a mother and also how the past affects our present and can be a tool, a gift, a lesson. 💗 I'd love to hear your thoughts and/or this wonderful community's feedback.

I’m glad you enjoyed the photos! And I hope you like The Good Part, too. I was crying (in a good way) on the train in Denmark while I read it.

Thanks for sharing your adventures with us! I’m currently reading The Wedding People by Alison Espach! My book coach thinks it might be a good comp for my novel. Then I plan to watch your interview with Alison!

oh my gosh, how fortuitous about The Wedding People being a comp for your book, Barb! I love when the universe does things like that, crossing our paths with what we just happen to need!

Love everything about this post! Thanks for the Weisfeld rec. This MG mystery and historical fiction reader is challenging myself to read MG non-fiction and graphic novels. This challenge is a learning curve even for an experienced (retired) school library media specialist! I'd ❤️ more recommendations. Beth

Oh, hooray, Beth! I'm so glad you're going to check out Brian's book! He's such a lovely person, too. I love how he's dedicated himself to MG-aged kids. I'm going to have him on the podcast soon, so I'll ask him for more MG recs for you!
