Loved this one. I like hearing how she combined writing with a full-time job and planning in some time to make it work. I appreciate hearing that even published writers get that self doubt feeling and have moments where they don't feel very inspired to write.

Glad you loved it, Sophie! I also loved hearing that she still had self-doubt, and I love the patience she shows her writing. Thanks for listening/watching!

Thanks so much for interviewing Alison, and thanks for putting it on a video, too. I sometimes have difficulty processing audio, which is probably why I can't do audiobooks lol. I enjoyed The Wedding People!

I'm really glad the video versions are helpful for you, Barb! That's also great to hear that you enjoyed The Wedding People. I actually haven't read it yet, but it's on my shelf, and after talking to Alison, it's definitely a book I want to get to sooner rather than later.

This was fantastic--the idea of encouragement along the way is KEY....Thx so much for the interview--it felt candid and "real." (Also, thx for mentioning the cycle of self-doubt.)
