Great interview! Now I'm even more excited to get my hands on Heir. You both had such an easiness to your conversation that made it a pleasure to watch.

aww thank you, Trista! And I’m glad the conversation flowed because we actually had some internet lag problems, so I had to edit out the unnatural laggy bits between my questions and her answers. I even got booted off the recording at one point and she was so lovely and patient and waited for me to come back. 😆 Luckily, we’re friends and have known each other forever, which helps a conversation flow even when the internet is not cooperating!

Such a great interview!! And I love her answer to my question!! I write to music so that was fun to learn about her playlists too based on Trista's question :)

It's nice to know I'm not alone in my slowness in writing too!! As well as having the million ideas that swirl around in our heads. I love your interviews because I always end up feeling less alone. :) Thank you, Evelyn!!

I thought Sabaa's answer about her playlists was so interesting!

Thank you for this, Mesa. Not feeling alone is one of the best things about being around other writers, isn't it?

Great choice of interviewee, Evelyn, thank you!

These words especially resonated with me: "To have something to work toward ... if I don't have some type of goal ... I feel really lost."

YES, me too! I know that's not how everyone's brain works, but I'm with you and Sabaa on this one.
