Hello, Protagonists!
My podcast guest today is romantasy author Scarlett St. Clair, who has sold millions of copies of her books worldwide and is a #1 New York Times and international bestseller. We first met in France at le Festival du Livre de Paris (aka Paris Book Festival), where I got to witness firsthand the magnitude of her international fame.
But that’s not the reason I invited her here today. I chose Scarlett for you because she is someone who is humble yet doesn’t shy away from her ambition. She laughs easily, shares her experiences freely, and is just a joy to spend time with. I honestly wish we lived closer to each other so we could hang out all the time.
Today we talk about:
How she rose from a flop to become a global superstar in self-publishing, then later switched over to a traditional publisher
Why “No” just means “Yes, but in a different way”
Her unorthodox way of writing books
Nurturing a genuine community of readers and fans, and much more!
✍🏼 And don’t forget about our $1,000 Scholarships for Aspiring Writers (more info below).
I hope you enjoy the show!1
