I loved the emphasis on the process of discovery as we write, and how we need to really embrace revision to get at the heart of our novel. Nothing is ever wasted😀
Another fantastic conversation! I think my idea of heaven involves being marooned on a beautiful island (well, for four days at a 5 star resort)--with all your incredible guests. Every single person you interview has something valuable to contribute--plus, they all seem like exactly the sort of people you'd want to sip hot cocoa with while talking books. What I particularly loved is hearing Eowyn talk about her first unpublished book that she could never quite get to work. There's something liberating that comes from knowing that just because one book doesn't work, doesn't mean that you can't go on to have future successes. Thanks so much for this great episode! D
