There are so many introverts out there who don't know where to start. I think your pub is the best starting point to see that you can do things quietly but still loud enough to build a community ❤️

Thanks to today's wonderful interview with Beth, I was encouraged to start telling my little stories about life in Portugal using my own illustrations. I've been doing these sketches off and on, but it wasn't until this interview that something clicked and I decided to try putting them up on Substack.
Thanks Beth! And thank you for something else, too. I had somehow arrived at a point where I was scared to pick up the pens and draw something new, fearing it wouldn't be what I wanted it to be. Your chat with Evelyn somehow got me past that and happily drawing again, so thank you for that, as well!

I've done a lot of street photography over the years, but they can be a bit touchy about that here, so I switched to drawing. The fact that I'm not good at drawing people's faces protects people's privacy – and me! 😊
Woke up this morning and as I was meditating I thought that if I was to get a mentor I'd like a mentor like Evelyn because she always has that warm smiley face. Then I forgot all about it and got on with my day until I listened to the story you shared about the super market lady and I'm sensing strong synchronicity vibe then and there! That was powerful and perhaps a sign!
