The Hundred Loves of Juliet BONUS CONTENT: Timeline of Romeo and Juliet's Past Lives
Also: Exclusive edition with sprayed edges and another treat for podcast listeners
Hello lovelies!
I’ve been so happy to hear from many of you about how you’re enjoying The Hundred Loves of Juliet. Although I may not be able to respond to each email, I do read Every! Single! One! Anytime you email me or send me handwritten snail mail, it makes my day. So THANK YOU!!!!
Comments I’ve been hearing a lot:
“I wish Sebastien and Helene’s story would never end”
and
“Are you ever going to write more about Romeo and Juliet’s past lives?”
The answer is… I’d love to! But not yet, because I already have another, different book in the works for you for next year!
However, if you’re curious, I did have a timeline of Romeo and Juliet’s past lives. I can’t share with you yet where their other lives were and their names, but maybe… maybe in the future I will…
For now, though, scroll all the way down for screenshots of my working document with Romeo and Juliet’s timeline (with purposely-redacted gaps). I hope this will sate at least some of your curiosity!
If you haven’t gotten a copy of The Hundred Loves of Juliet yet, you can do that here or anywhere that sells books:
Exclusive Sprayed Edges edition!
If you love beautiful books, you can now get your hands on an exclusive edition of The Hundred Loves of Juliet with painted edges (both US and UK versions) from The Scripted Letter Co!
My publisher is also giving away two copies of the US sprayed edges edition over on their Instagram until 9/15:
Persevere podcast
I was honored to be on the Persevere Podcast, a program for creatives of all types—writers, photographers, jewelry makers, and more.
We chatted about everything from The Hundred Loves of Juliet to overcoming obstacles in writing to taking the long view of any creative career. You can listen here or on your favorite podcast app:
Timeline of Past Romeo and Juliet Lives
If there are typos in there, it’s because these really are screenshots from my own working document that I used while writing The Hundred Loves of Juliet. I might have made minor revisions on the book itself during the copyediting process and forgot to update my own timeline. I hope not, though!
But if you see that there is an inaccuracy in this timeline, compared to the finished hardcover, let me know. (Not the ARC, though, because ARCs are publicity/marketing materials printed from unproofread manuscripts, before the manuscript goes through copyediting).
So that’s that… Happy daydreaming about Romeo and Juliet’s past lives! And maybe I’ll write more about them for you someday…
Speaking of which, my next newsletter is going to include the deleted, original ending for The Hundred Loves of Juliet. I know a ton of you are curious about that, so keep an eye on your inbox!
xoxo,
~evelyn
This spreadsheet is amazing 🤩 and seeing all the other lives they had. I would definitely 💯 read another book about them.
